Take notes: plan how you will work with daily practical tasks while including the children. Discuss how you can relate to the children while you do the practical work. Notice and discuss how you may sometimes find practical work most important, and how you sometimes find relations work most important in various situations during the day.

The following is an example of what you could do before the next session:

• • Choose one of the five secure caregiver behaviours and plan how you will improve work until next session. If for example a child has provoking behavior, we suggest that you practice “feel with the child, not like the child”.
  • Plan how you will observe or video record your improvements. Start by observing your normal practice and how the children respond, and then your new practices and how the children respond.
  • Write down what you have discussed and decided to do.
