How are you doing? Evaluation and Adjustment

Competences to be exercised:
Reflecting on your learning process.
• Using your professional experiences.

Theme of the session:
In this training session you are going to look back at your work with the sessions you have completed so far.
You will sum up your work and experiences before you continue.

Aims of the session:
The goal of the session is to reflect with your spouse – and if possible with your supervisor or instructor – about what you have learned and achieved in your work.

“This session helped a lot to organize the relationships among the caregivers, group leaders, social service and the director. For the first time we listened to their ideas on the training and the staff. For the first time, our director spoke with us face to face and told how satisfied he was. To belong to a place was very nice. A part of this was children.”

Caregiver’s statement

Please use 15 minutes (or as much time as needed) for summing up what you worked with between the last session and this one:

•  Did you succeed in doing what you planned?
What was easy to do and what was difficult?
What did you learn from doing what you planned?
What can you do better next time you work between sessions?

Please remember: It is okay if you experienced problems – this is a new way of working, and it takes some exercise and experimenting before it becomes routine.
