From October 3-5, the International Institute for the Rights of the Child (IDE) and the Centre for Children’s Rights Studies at the University of Geneva (CIDE) host their annual conference concerning alternative care types for at-risk children and youth. The conference creates a bridge between research, politics, and praxis in the area of alternative care and it creates room for discussion and professional feedback between experts, practitioners, academics, researchers, government representatives and adolescents who have experience with alternative care.
Fairstart has been given an opportunity to hold a poster session at the conference, where we will present our instructor education, methods, visions, and tools for implementing quality care for placed children and youth.
